My older brother Eric is always putting me onto dope new artists, and papa mbye is a creative that he has been telling me about for MONTHS now. Admittedly, I was a little bit late to catching onto his music, but after watching his new music video for “Only Right” about a dozen times, I am hooked! Papa mbye has the entire skillset that you look for in a rising star in 2021; his songs have catchy melodies, he can sing like an angel, he has the ‘look’, and his music is unique + genreless enough to where it can reach many different audiences.
